Better Skin Care For Everyone (Part 1)

If your skin looks young, then it is fair to say that it is probably healthy. There are lots of methods out there for skin improvement, and for making this last longer. The skin is often seen as a mirror to the overall health of a person and this is likely to be true. How often do you notice that when you are stressed or run-down, your skin also starts to feel tired and you get spots? Below is a list of skincare tips that anyone can build into their daily routine.

· Regular Exercise

Capillary functioning (the body’s ability to circulate blood) reduces with age and inactivity which can result in premature aging. It also aids the flow of oxygen to the surface of the skin, helping to repair damage and maintain a healthy appearance. Go for plenty of fast walks – brisk walking is good for the body and the skin by association.

· Do things in moderation

Don’t overdo strenuous tasks particularly important with mens skincare. Enjoy a drink, but don’t regularly exceed a reasonable amount and try to quit smoking. It is well know that too much intake of alcohol and a smoking habit will harm the skin.

· Good Diet

Provide yourself with a good diet; a mixture of freshly prepared food including plenty of fruit and vegetables and lean meat. Try to build into your diet a good level of vitamins, including Vitamin C, B and E.

· Keeping toned

The elasticity of the skin begins to reduce as we advance in age and dry skin can be an issue, so the use of toners made with glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids are great to head resist this problem. Skin pore sizes can be controlled by the acids, which also help to regulate the growth of hair under the skin.
