Sometimes, certain illnesses can also lead to symptoms which are very much similar to hot flashes. For example, people who are experiencing problems with their hormones are the ones who are most likely to experience hot flashes from illnesses.

Keep in mind that many menopause symptoms are caused by low estrogen levels. So if hormone related illnesses are causing the body to have a shortage of estrogen, a woman will experience hot flashes, regardless of whether or not she is experiencing menopause. 

And lastly, hot flashes may happen from time to time as a result of people’s genes. If a person is genetically predisposed to have problems with his or her hormones, then hot flashes are sure to occur. This problem can made less of a problem however with the use of natural menopause treatments.
