Ultrasound Liposuction For You?

Ultrasound liposuction is a new technique for local fat removal.

It is a very common method of cheating nature, so to speak. Really, it’s an easy way for people to get rid of excess fat.

Diet and exercise have always been the only options to get rid of the fatty parts that you don’t like. However, many people complain about those “last 10 pounds”, or stubborn areas of the body. It seems like no matter how hard you try, you just can’t lose that stubborn roll or pocket of fat.

Or, maybe you are already slim, but you want to give certain parts of your body a more sleek, firm look. This is where lipo can help. Fat is broken down and removed by suction.

Liposuction at first was, and still is all the rage amongst the rich and famous.

Celebrities are under a lot of pressure to always look their best for their jobs. It helps them to keep up the illusion that their bodies are far more in shape than the average person’s body.

Socialites often “travel” and socialize in the same circles as celebrities. They visit the finest clothing designers, who make dresses to fit tiny model-sized bodies.

Being overweight, or actually having pockets of flab isn’t acceptable in these circles. So, having liposuction becomes a matter of social currency, and relevance.

Ultrasound liposuction is seen as a god-send, but it still is a surgical procedure. it is not without its risk or possible complications.

With the traditional liposuction procedure, a lance is used to break up fatty tissue. This is then suctioned out of the body. One result of this process is swelling, and trauma. The doctor has to keep making saw-like motions to break down the fat.

To solve this problem ultrasonic liposuction was invented as a way to perform this procedure in a less invasive way.

The main difference is that the canula being used has an ultrasound tip on it. As the canula is inserted into the body, the ultrasonic waves melt the fat.

The fat is converted from a solid into a liquid. The liquid can then flow out of the body, instead of the fat chunks being broken down, and suctioned out.

As a major benefit there is less internal trauma, because there is less damage done with the lance. Another advantage is that the skin isn’t stretched out as much.

Overall, because fat is being melted, more fat can be removed. So now doctors can remove fatty tissue from areas of the body that were next to impossible previously. There is also fewer loss of blood. This usually means less down time during the recovery.

While you should always consult with your doctor when thinking about any surgical procedure, ultrasound liposuction is an option that you can certainly look into.

All procedures have their risk, but this one can be quite beneficial for the right person.
