Wear Sunglasses In Winter NOW To Avoid Sight Problems LATER!
I read an article the other day which explained that our eyes are constantly at risk from the sun.Eyes can be damaged from even a small amount of UV light (like which is present during the autumn and winter months). Experts argue that sunnies should be worn without fail, despite the actual weather condition. This means that we should be wearing sunglasses even when the heavens are opening outside. You might not be aware that the colour white is capable of reflecting up to forty per cent of ultra violet rays. The suns rays are always present, even when temperatures seem to suggest otherwise! When it comes to problems which cause visual impairment, prevention is the best cure.
But will sunglasses ever make for an acceptable winter accessory? Sunglasses are attention grabbing enough as it is and so donning them towards the end of the year could be considered a fairly risky fashion move! Anyone who is wearing sunglasses automatically looks as if they are (or think that they are) more important then everyone else around them. That’s just a stereotypes that people associate with the donning of sunglasses. I believe this to be the case because of the accessory of sunglasses being so popular with the rich and famous sect. Unless the large majority begins to wear protective eye wear in the cooler months, the few that choose to will no doubt be rendered foolish!
It is a real shame that more of us do not have to wear prescription glasses.This would mean that we could all have glasses fitted with Reactions technology. Reactions lenses will only turn dark when this is necessary. The lens filter is dependent on the amount of light that they are exposed to. This means that the eyes are not permanently blacked out from onlookers. In addition, the frames of prescription glasses are less “in your face” than their eye protecting counterparts.This means that they are far more adaptable to a wide selection of scenarios.
It is hard for me to imagine that sunglasses will ever be an accessory that is worn regardless of what the weather is doing. Unless attitudes change promptly though, we are all going to suffer very poor eyesight in our old age.
